- In between editing and proofreading, I loved teaching for twenty years. I taught English at the secondary level, history at the college level, and students with Autism and other disabilities at the secondary level. In Missoula, MT, I worked at a YWCA safehouse for women and children. The knowledge I gained as a teacher and social worker adds to my knowledge base as a copyeditor.
