Copyediting academic content, research-based articles in multiple subject areas in UK and US English using Word's tracking device. Typical subject areas include physics, economics, psychology, social sciences, literature, history, and community development and planning in regions around the globe.

• A.L. Copyediting Services, journal articles, Ph.D. and MA theses, research projects, dossiers, book chapters, and manuscripts for individual clients. 

• Editorial Assistant, Mountain Press, Missoula, Montana. Assisted in the acquisition and production of American history and travel manuscripts for publication.

• In between editing and proofreading, I loved teaching for twenty years. I taught English at the secondary level, history at the college level, and students with Autism and other disabilities at the secondary level.  In Missoula, MT, I worked at a YWCA safehouse for women and children. The knowledge I gained as a teacher and social worker adds to my knowledge base as a copyeditor.
